Role of Admission Committee:

The admission Committee appointed by Sou.Venutai Chavan Pharmacy Collage ( D.Pharm) and headed by the Secretary of Shriram Education Society of Phaltan or his Nominee shall be the sole authority to invite applications, process them, declare schedule for admission process and effect admissions per the directives given through the Government Resolution, (vide GR: g--------------------------- 16th April 2003 The schedule of admission is annexed (Annex-1)

Out of the students admitted of first year D.Pharm are required to apply for eligibility along with the prescribed fees to the Board before the due date. The eligibility forms should be submitted in the college office as per the date notified. The students are also required to pay enrollment fees to the Board to get the permanent registration number.

All the admission made to the first year will be provisional and shall be subsequently confirmed only on grant of eligibility by the MSBTE Mumbai. The college authorities will not be responsible for non grant of eligibility by the Board. The students provisionally admitted, if declared non eligible by the Board , his admission will be cancelled immediately and fess paid by him shall not be refunded.

Eligibility for Diploma in Pharmacy

• Hospitals / Dispensaries run by Central / State Govt. / Municipal Corporation / Central Government Health Scheme and Employees State Insurance Scheme, A Pharmacy Chemist and Druggist shop licensed under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.


• In the course of practical training, the trainee shall have exposure to : working knowledge of keeping of records required by various Acts concerning the profession of pharmacy and practical experience in the manipulation including checking of doses, dispensing prescriptions, common methods of administering medicaments and storage of drugs and medical preparations.


• The practical training shall not be less than five hundred hours pried over a period of not less than three months.
